You review suggestions before they are added. Nothing reaches your tracker and no reminder is scheduled until you check a suggestion and add it.
Gmail connection is optional. Every subscription can be typed in by hand instead.
What you are allowing
Connecting Gmail gives TrackSignUp read-only access to your mailbox. The scan looks for receipts and trial notices. It cannot send, change or delete your mail. The permission Google asks for is gmail.readonly, which covers the whole mailbox rather than receipts alone. Signing in with Google is a separate step and asks for no mailbox access.
