Why it adds up

Three things that are easy to lose track of.

Renewals that are easy to forget

A yearly plan renews on a date nobody wrote down. The first sign is often the statement.

Trial deadlines that need a decision

Many tools email a welcome and nothing more. Keep the date, and decide before it passes.

Shared software costs across products

One design tool, three products. Record the share each product carries and see what each one costs in software.

How it works

Discover. Decide. Allocate.

Products, card labels, budgets and Gmail are all optional. One subscription is enough to start.

Discover

Type a tool and its next date, or scan one Gmail inbox for receipts and trial notices you have forgotten.

Decide

Get an email before a trial ends or a plan renews, then record what you decided: kept, cancelled, downgraded or replaced.

Allocate

Split each shared tool across your products and see what every product costs in software.

Gmail, optional

Find subscriptions in Gmail, then review them.

Connecting Gmail gives TrackSignUp read-only access to your mailbox. The scan looks for receipts and trial notices. It cannot send, change or delete your mail. Nothing reaches your tracker until you check a suggestion and add it, and signing in with Google is separate and asks for no mailbox access.

Manual first

Most subscriptions can be tracked by typing the tool and its next date. Gmail is for the ones you have forgotten.

One inbox free

Your first Gmail inbox is included on Free. A second, separate inbox is part of Solo Founder. How email access works

Copilot, on Solo Founder

Ask in plain words. Review it. Confirm it.

Type what you want the way you would say it. Copilot finds the subscription, prepares the change and shows every field before anything is saved. Nothing changes until you press the button.

ExampleCopilot on Solo Founder. Example records.
  • You type: Add Figma, $45 a month, next charge 15 Oct. Copilot shows Add Figma: Name Figma; Type Recurring; Price $45 USD; Billed every month; Next charge 2026-10-15. Nothing is saved until you press Add subscription.
  • You type: What renews in the next 30 days?. Copilot shows Renewals in the next 30 days: Figma Thu 15 Oct · $45; Notion Sat 24 Oct · $10; Linear Trial ends Sun 4 Oct · $19 if continued. Read from your tracker. Nothing was changed.
  • You type: Put Figma 60% on Client site. Copilot shows Change Figma allocation: Allocation Client site 60%, Unallocated 40%; Effective From 2026-10-01 (allocations are monthly). This changes the product allocation only. Nothing is saved until you confirm.

Adds what you describe

Free trials, recurring subscriptions, one-time purchases and lifetime deals, from one sentence. If a price or date is unclear, it asks.

Answers from your tracker

What renews soon, which trials end this week, what each product costs and what no product carries.

Changes one thing at a time

Prices, billing terms, dates and product splits, shown as before and after for you to confirm.

Never acts on its own

It cannot cancel anything with a vendor, archive or delete. Every change waits for your confirmation.

The 10 counts every subscription in your tracker, free trials and paid ones alike, until you archive it. Archived subscriptions do not count. Each of the two archives, subscriptions and dismissed Gmail suggestions, holds up to 15 items on both plans. Scanning reads the same period and runs the same way on both plans; unlimited inboxes is not unlimited scanning.

Questions

What it does, and what it does not.

What is included free?

Up to 10 subscriptions in your tracker, free trials included, and one connected Gmail inbox. Email reminders, the Decisions page, avoided-cost history, products and shared costs, the monthly overview and software budget, manual entry and CSV import are all part of Free. Copilot is part of Solo Founder. Archived subscriptions do not count toward the 10. Compare plans

Can I track free trials and paid subscriptions?

Yes. A free trial gets a cancel-by deadline and a reminder before it. A paid subscription gets its amount, billing period and next charge date, and can have a renewal reminder. Both count toward the same tracker limit.

Do I need to connect Gmail?

No. Type the tool’s name or website and its dates, and nothing asks for mailbox access. Gmail is an optional way to find receipts and trial notices you have forgotten.

What is Copilot?

An assistant inside TrackSignUp, included with Solo Founder. Ask in plain words to find a subscription, see what renews or which trials end soon, understand what each product costs, add a subscription, or change a price, a date or a product split. It prepares each change and shows it field by field, marking what you said and what it assumed; nothing is saved until you press the confirmation button. It cannot cancel anything with a vendor, archive, delete, or record avoided-cost decisions. Each account has a monthly message allowance. See Solo Founder

Where and when are reminders sent?

To the email address you sign in with. A free trial is reminded before its cancel-by deadline, and a paid subscription before a renewal if you asked for one. For a deadline with no time of day, the reminder is 9:00 in your timezone two days before the end date, so you have a full day before the last day begins. You can change the time before you save. Reminder settings

Does marking something cancelled cancel it with the provider?

No. TrackSignUp has no connection to any vendor and cannot cancel anything for you. “Mark as cancelled” records a cancellation you have already made: the forecast stops and pending reminders stop. If you have not cancelled with the vendor, they will keep charging.

How do shared product costs work?

You type a percentage: 60% of this tool belongs to that product. It is a manual estimate, labelled as one wherever it appears, and nothing measures usage or infers a split. The shares of one subscription never add up to more than the subscription, and the vendor still charges it once.
